Note: Stitch BNPL is now Stitch Pay Later. The product is the same, with a refreshed name.
Your Stitch Pay Later plans can have a few different statuses, depending on where they are in their lifecycle. Here's what each one means.
Active
Your plan is in progress. At least one instalment has been collected, and there are more still to come.
Upcoming
Your plan has been approved and the first instalment hasn't been collected yet. If you're using Split, the first instalment is usually at checkout so you may only see this briefly. If you're using Extend, your plan stays in this status until one month after checkout.
Paid
All instalments have been collected and the plan is complete. No further action needed.
Overdue
An instalment didn't go through on its due date. Your Stitch account has self-service options to catch up. Use Pay now to settle the next instalment, or Pay all I owe to clear the whole outstanding balance. Late or missed payments may be reported to credit bureaus, and may affect your eligibility for future Pay Later purchases.
Refunded
The merchant has processed a refund and your plan has been adjusted accordingly. Instalments you've already paid are refunded to your card, and remaining instalments are dropped.
How many instalments will I see?
Stitch Pay Later plans run from 2 to 6 instalments, depending on which option was offered (Split or Extend), the merchant, and what you qualify for. The number of instalments is set at checkout and doesn't change after that.
